Is my property going to flood?

I have an article that is going to appear in the St Louis Post Dispatch on Sunday, June 27th that’s going to answer that very question!  Bottom line, it all comes down to the BFE – no, not the place, but the base flood elevation.  The relationship between your home and property and the BFE is what determines the statistical chances of the home being flooded.  Is a property going to flood?  There’s no absolute answer to this question… unfortunately, it is always a possibility.
